Ranch life

Here on the Fish & Cross Ranch, many things in life are new to me, but I’ve made quite a few observations. And I might have even learned a few things. 

Summer work days are long. Very long. 

Winter work days seem shorter, but I think it’s just because there is less daylight. 

There are vehicles everywhere. All kinds of vehicles.

It’s a long drive to town. Actually, it’s a long drive to get off the ranch.

I’m still figuring out whose cows are whose. 

Bulls are huge. 

The views are breathtaking.

Still not sure what I think about the snow.

Al can do anything. Electrical, mechanical, business plans, culinary. He’s the jack of all trades that I’ve always tried to be. 

Wolves. I’m learning about wolves. I’m sure there will be more to come on that topic as I learn more.
