Developing relationships means you put yourself out there. You have to give for a relationship to form. 

You give a little. You take a little. You give a little more. Slowly, you get to know someone. Trust builds. Relationships develop.

From a lifetime of experience, I know that trust given is not always returned. It’s ok. 

I’d rather trust, than not be trusting.
