 Monday was a teacher workday, and I realized that I hadn’t had an updated picture for a year. There was one in the Doctors office last October when we were making a plan for Ron, but that was not all that happy. So here’s a new one from one of my true happy places, the school library.

I wouldn’t call the place I’m in great (yet), but it’s good. I haven’t said it in a while because I’ve been living it every single day, but God is sufficient regardless of what I am going through. 

I’m so grateful for friends (long-time and recently found), I’m grateful for my health and opportunities. I’m grateful to serve and spend time with friends and family and to have long conversations (with and without tears). I’m grateful for the ability to move forward. 

I can’t thank nearly enough all those who I now know in newer and deeper ways. I am so very fortunate even in grief.
