Obituaries are a bear. There is no way around it. They are agonizing to write. 

We had decided that Ron's service would be in Winston Salem where we worked and lived from 1993-2020. So the Winston-Salem Journal seemed a natural for his obituary. But for the price. All I can say on this end is that for $350 we got very little.

On the other hand, we have a local weekly, The Chatham News & Record. For 1/3 of the price, we were able to say so much more. Still difficult to sum up a full life in so few words.

Many of you knew my dad, Ron Griffin. He passed away this past Tuesday, at age 75, after a short battle with lung cancer.

When he retired he was the Vice President of Sales at Pine Hall Brick. He spent over 40 years in the Brick and Masonry industries.

He touched and influenced so many people in his life. Please share this to help spread the news of his passing and give people the opportunity to come and celebrate his life.

 

His Memorial Service will be:
